Fashionable- Tank Magazine Fashion Director Caroline Issa’s Style Explored In 40 Looks
Executive Fashion Director of Tank Magazine, Caroline Issa is a multilayered women in a somewhat vapid industry. Born in Canada to a Chinese mother and a father of half Iranian Half Lebanese origin, after graduating with a Business degree and working as a management consultant in the world of finance, her life changed in a chance meeting with the founder of Tank Masoud Golsorkhi. Taking a chance on the opportunity to become the Creative Director’s mentee, she decided to step into a whole new world altogether, fashion publication.
In addition to Tank Magazine, Issa has also founded the online periodical Because – one of the first click-to-buy magazines to venture into retail. She is also the CEO of Tank Form – a boutique content-generated branding agency that looks after the likes of Chloé, Christian Lacroix and Vivienne Westwood.
Aside from her obvious talents and brains another aspect has seemed to grip everyone whenever Issa is photographed is her keen sense of fashion. Her knack for construction looks that reflect a restrained elegance and masculine tinge that is somewhat reminiscent of Anthropologie’s Jenna Lyons. With a massive emphasis on suits, blazers all worn with a cool British nonchalance, it’s obvious there have been many influences shaping her direction in fashion.
Caroline Issa lives in London where the avant garde magazine is released every quarter but for every Fashion Week we get to see the Fashion Director style some of the most interesting outfits with a completely new take on what it means to dress as a women today.
