Fashion In Film- Fall 2012 Campaigns From Prada, Louis Vuitton, Alexander Wang & MiuMiu

Advertising each season might be primarily focused on print magazines, online and billboards but most major labels also shoot short films to accommodate the campaign as well, even if most people never see them.

For fall 2012 Prada played a game of high stakes chess with some gorgeous supermodels while its younger label MiuMiu featured actress Chloe Sevigny in some to-die-for loafers and paisley printed suits. Louis Vuitton shoot a 14 minute video of  the same concept they used for the actual runway show: a train pulling up with all the FW 2012 designs in tow.

As a card carrying member of the young and hip designer club for young and hip girls about town, Alexander Wang tapped Azealia Banks who shot to fame with the catchy “212” tune (which she performed privately for Karl Lagerfeld immediately) to perform an energetic rap more suitable for working out to than showing the clothes. At least it was only under a minute.
