British label Issa, shot to mega famous status when Kate Middleton donned a blue wrap dress of theirs during the press announcement of her engagement to Prince William. Not only did all the blue wrap dresses they have sell out immediately, Issa has continued to enjoy a steady stream of attention thanks to their gorgeous gowns and flirty aesthetic.
For Spring Summer 2013, the collection was inspired by the sunny tropics and to compliment the bright clothing, a rather glam and overstated hair/makeup was chosen for the models. The genius of the look was that it was flawless on practically all the girls. From fair skinned and super blonde to Asian, African American and everything in between, this just might be the most universally flattering look we have ever seen. The striking chignon was jarringly beautiful on its own, with hair smoothly coiled around itself high on the crown and secured with light nets. The extra oomph came courtesy of various colored orchids decorating the locks which were the icing on the cake. Well defined cat-eyes that flicked upwards, a swoop of dark shadow to define the crease were a great compliment to brightly flushed cheeks and orange or fuchsia lips.
