French women are a fabled and lauded group aren’t they? They apparently don’t get fat, rear their children like pint sized adults and have historically been known not to run around in sweats, ever. You don’t have to live on the Left Bank or chain smoke to tap into their fashionable secrets though. Here we profile ten women from Catherine Deneuve to Lou Doillon who incidentally is Jane Birkin’s daughter, that manage to look effortlessly chic at every turn.
Side tip: minimal makeup and soft natural hair were one of the first things we noticed- no tanorexic faces or hair that could potentially be flammable from hairspray for miles.
