Runway Report- A Rundown Of The Best Resort 2013 Collections

Designers have in recent years come up with a fun way to tie everyone over from the Spring/Summer season through to Fall/Winter and that is, Resort. A fun, cool sibling to the other more established major runway show, Resort collections which are shown as a simple presentation provide that extra half-inch of inspiration almost all of us need. However, since the fashion world is always ahead and retail stores play catch-up what was just presented in New York was Resort wear for next year.

For Resort 2013 it’s all about bold colored graphic prints, menswear inspired looks (yes, still going strong!) and neutral grey, ochre, brown and black. In other words, go big or go home. Feast you eyes on the delicious array of looks created by some of our favorite designers at Donna Karan, Lanvin and Chanel to more contemporary labels like Roksanda Illincic, Altuzarra and Christopher Kane. As for Marc Jacobs however,,,there is really not much to say but, good luck with sales.
