French actress, Marion Cotillard’s flawless princess-like ensemble at the Palais des Festivals in France on Thursday came courtesy of the masion of Dior. Walking the red carpet to promote her new film Rust & Bone at the 65th annual Cannes Film Festival, from her well exaggerated updo accented with jewels to gorgeous ball gown, she was the picture of classic movie stars past. The Chopard jewels adorned around her massive bun would have undoubtedly made Princess Grace proud.
The layered chiffon Dior creation was made up of a black bodice and navy blue skirt, worn with a patent leather belt. Appropriately enough she did not wear any jewelry apart from the said hair jewelry, opting instead for a simple albeit pricey 8k white gold watch set on a black band, which was obviously also borrowed from Chopard.
Of course the main reason Marion was wearing Dior is that she’s currently their much adored spokesmodel, a role she took over from Natalie Portman following the scandal with Dior’s now ousted designer John Galliano.
