As a member of the jury at the Cannes Film Festival this year, Diane took her wardrobe to task and dazzled everyone in one incredible gown after another. On the opening day of the festival she served up a double feature, first in a sexy Versus Versace number then a breathtaking mint colored Giambattista Valley gown, that really set the stage for next seven days, all culminating at the closing ceremonies where she wore an elegant yet massive Dior Spring 2012 couture creation.
Another standout look came courtesy of a jaw-dropping white Chanel dress with tiny lilac flower applique’s, hot off the French label’s Resort 2013 runway collection, shown only a few weeks ago. Alternatively we died a little inside at the perfection of her sequined Vivienne Westwood column dress as well as the modern Jason Wu draped sheer blue and black lace outfit that showed off a different take of the whole nude illusion trend -in a completely refreshing way.
After dozens of photo calls, after-parties and red carpets, the Cannes Film Festival has finally come to an end, and though there were many lovely ladies we loved, like Eva Longoria and Freida Pinto, Diane effortlessly stole the spotlight away with her fantastic style.
