Well, Poor Liz Taylor must be rolling over in her grave right about now. The late glamorous actress is set to be portrayed by Lindsay for Lifetime Television. In preparation for “Liz & Dick” Lindsay has been given free reign on wardrobe choices and is reportedly “obsessing" over “getting into the Hollywood legend's head”.

Truthfully, we can’t blame her for holding onto this role for dear life since the last time she appeared on screen was 2009’s box office flop Labor Pains. She also released a statement profession her love and gratitude for the role, “I have always admired and had enormous respect for Elizabeth Taylor. She was not only an incredible actress but an amazing woman as well. I am very honored to have been asked to play this role.” Lindsay was referred to as “the most insured actress that ever walked on a soundstage” by the movie’s producer Larry Thompson, adding that they were anticipating “a lot of things” and hoping none of them happen.

This is not the first time the troubled star has stepped into the shoes of a famous actress however. Before appearing on the cover of Playboy Magazine channeling her inner Marilyn Monroe, she appeared in The New York Times in a shoot that recreated the iconic actress’s golden years.
