Seen & Heard- Elizabeth Taylor’s Handwritten Note To Andy Warhol

Andy Warhol first printed his silk-screened Liz series in 1963, but it wasn't until 1977 that Elizabeth Taylor got her own version of the iconic painting. Andy who was notoriously obsessed with stardom surely had to have been quite pleased with the hand-written note Elizabeth sent over. On a side note the letterhead read “Elizabeth Taylor” and her writing really beautiful.

Dearest Andy

I'm so proud I finally have your "Liz" and thank you for signing it so sweetly to me.
I do love you.

Elizabeth or Liz
(of A.W.'s fame)

  1. What does "A.W's fame" means?
Lindsay Lohan also got a hand-written letter from Elizabeth Taylor before she died and it came with a ring as a gift. She was so sweet!
