Welcome to Paris Fashion Week everybody. A model took several tumbles walking down the Anthony Vaccarello runway becoming the seasons first SATC dubbed fashion road kill.

First thing of course that comes to mind is who the heck is Anthony Vaccarello?

To refresh your memory you might recall Gwyneth Paltrow on the cover of cover Harper’s Bazaar recently wearing one of Vaccarello’s gorgeous cut-out dresses. Anthony Vaccarello is a Belgian 31-year-old Paris-based designer who won the ANDAM {Association Nationale pour le Développement des Arts de la Mode} prize last year. Before starting his own label in 2008 Vaccarello worked under Karl Lagerfeld at Fendi for two years. Some pretty amazing designers have won the prestigious prize in the past including Turkish designer Hakaan, Gareth Pugh and Giles Deacon.

Along with the Fall ‘12 collection Vaccarello debuted his collaboration with shoe designer Giuseppe Zanotti. A series of pointed heels that had double straps at the ankle and really worked well with the menswear inclined collection her presented. Which brings us to Pauline Hoarau who was wearing one of the said shoes and found them very tricky to walk in.

She had many stumbles during the show and the poor girl tried to keep it together but in the finale walk the shoes proved too difficult and so she feel like the London Bridge. In an act of rare solemnity (for models) two other girls actually helped Pauline off the runway to safety.

Now many models fall here and there, sometimes the dress is too long but more often than not it’s the bloody heels that are the reason. When someone asked the model about it on twitter she responded, "Couldn't walk in the heels!!!!"
