Fashionable Faces- So You Want To Meet Lana Del Rey For A Live Show In San Francisco

Cultish singer and lover of Veronica Lake waved hair Lana Del Rey has been making the rounds promoting her debut album Born To Die. With an ode to “old Hollywood” nostalgia and maximum hipster appeal she has crept out of obscurity with such force that many have speculated a powerful and smart marketing team behind the pouty lipped singer’s image and willowy voice. Regardless of how the “self-styled gangsta Nancy Sinatra” has arrived at everyone's attention one thing is for certain, she and her music have a pretty dedicated fan base. Which brings us to her upcoming FREE appearance in San Francisco.

LDR will be coming to Amoeba Music in the city on February 9th with a live show and record signing. Signing at the in-store event will be limited to first 300 in-store purchasers of Born To Die beginning 1/31. Also for die hard LDR fans there is is promise of a limited-edition 7" with the purchase of her album at Amoeba starting 1/31 as well.

Thursday, February 9, 6 p.m. Amoeba Music San Francisco, 1855 Haight Street (between Stanyan and Shrader streets); 415-831-1200.
