Model Behavior- Abbey Lee Kershaw Defines Individuality
There are many reasons we love Abby Lee Kershaw. For one the girl can really style herself well. Combat boots, massive fur coats and sheer dresses are not clothes you usually find models walking around town in.
Originally from Australia, armed with good looks and a great head on her shoulder she has been on the radar for several years, now has finally begun booking major campaigns and walking or even opening shows during fashion week.
She has made waves for her opinionated personality as well, last year she took one look at the infamous armadillo shoes in the Alexander McQueen show, which would go on to be worn by Lady Gaga and Daphne Guinness, and declined to wear them or walk in the show, period. In fact two other models, Natasha Poly and Sasha Pivovarova also refused to wear the precarious pairs and were therefore cut from the designer's show.
There is good reason for this, no one wants to risk their life walking in death defying stilettos (if you can even call them that). She learned her lesson the hard way and wore another McQueen creation during the Spring 2009 season that had a very unhappy ending. The corset that she was wore was pulled in so tight that it caused extreme suffocation and she fainted within seconds of walking on the runway.
Versace For H&M, a very coveted campaign indeed. This Australian-born beauty with icy blue eyes and a penchant for piercings has captivated us not only for her striking personal style but also for her killer confidence.
